√ How can I buy a tour package from Pakistan? Is there variety of tour packages I can choose from? Can Karakoram Vision Pakistan (KVP) organise a tour for me?
It is not humanly possible to cover the whole of Pakistan in one package. We have tried our best, still, if your choice is not reflected in our given list you only have to send us your specific interest and we will prepare an itinerary to suit your travel needs. Our team of tourism professionals can help you a lot in preparing an itinerary to suit your special interest.

√ How do I book?

√ Why do I need an organised and guided tour?
You can do our tours on your own if you have a large quantity of time, money and are willing to forgo some security measures. However, we always recommend travel in an organised way, especially when traveling in Asia. It is commonly said that without a guide you see the half.
√ When is the best time to come in Pakistan for climbing and Trekking?
The peak trekking seasons is summer (mid of June to end of August). The Spring and Autumn seasons are best for the photography tours. The winter months can provide great trekking but heavy snowfall, particularly in late winter, can block high passes. Ask us for more details.
√  What is a camping trek?
Camping means sleeping in tents, normally we provide a two person tent for two clients. These treks normally go to more remote regions where there are no tea house facilities. You will have a full staff of guide, cooks and porters to take care of you on these treks.
√  Do I have to carry a backpack?
No. But you have to carry a light day-pack containing your water bottle, camera, an extra layer of clothing, sunglasses, a rain coat or wind breaker, and snacks. Porters or pack animals will carry all of the heavy gears.
√  I have never trekked before, can I do a trek in the Karakoram?
If you are in good health and enjoy regular exercise such as jogging, tennis, or even long walks, we have a trip designed for you. The number one qualification is a positive attitude! We have had many years of experience of treks in high altitudes, so we know how to pace a trek or climb. Each person reacts to altitude in a different way, so it is difficult to predict how you will do. But in general, with the careful pacing of our trips, allowing proper rest days for acclimatization, most people adapt well. The potential problems with altitude stem from people going too high too fast. We make sure that this does not happen.
√ What equipment should I bring?
We will help you in your selection of equipment to bring, it depends a lot upon the season you arrive here or where you are going, so please see our equipment check lists besides each tour or e-mail us for a complete gear list.
√ Why use a Local Trekking Guide?
They act as a liaison between you and the people and without the guide you will never get in touch with the people. You will visit the place but not interact with the culture and learn from it.
They are trained from time to time on issues such as first aid,Traveling in the Karakoram, Pakistan is not like  other countries where the altitudes are low. Once you cross the altitude of 3000m you have to be extremely cautious.

√  What is the minimum group size?

√  Do you arrange travel insurance?
The clients are advised to arrange travel insurance in their own countries prior to commencing their travel to Pakistan. KVP don’t arrange any kind of insurance.
√  How to settle payments?
In order to confirm your booking we ask for 20% of the total cost to be paid in advance. This will be an authorization for us to go ahead for further processing. The clients are asked to pay 100% in advance 30 days before their arrival in Pakistan.
√  What is the cancellation policy?
Please see the cancellation policy in terms & conditions section. If there are any further questions, please contact us again. There are a few hotels who ask for advance payments, especially during the peak season.
√  How can I apply for a Pakistani visa?
Pakistan’s government has introduced E-visa for 191 countries and now you don’t need you visit any Pakistani embassy to obtain visa. There are 10 different visa categories so before applying the visa you should select your purpose of visit and its correct visa category otherwise you will have a problem because different visas for different purpose. So you should select the right visa category for your visit.

√  Can I request private dates?

Yes. Most starter journeys are designed for private dates and are priced after the group size and route are confirmed.

Why are prices shown as on request?

Transport, hotels, permits and seasonal availability change. A current written proposal is more reliable than an unverified fixed price.

√  Do you guarantee flights and road access?

No operator can guarantee weather-sensitive flights or remote-road conditions. Appropriate buffers and alternatives are discussed before booking.
